Our Client is currently seeking a Therapeutic Practice Clinician to provide guidance to case managers, carers and other stakeholders working with children and young people within Foster Care.  You will be supporting the Permanency Support Program with the ongoing implementation of the Attachment Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework.
This role will involve;
  • Create resources to contribute to the development of therapeutic practice of staff within the Permanency Support Program 
  • Conduct group supervision utilizing the Minnesota Model
  • Liaise with external services completing Positive Behavioural Support Plans (PBSP) and develop and track PBSP between external service and Therapeutic Case Managers
  • Conduct monthly review meetings to identify placement challenges and high-risk concerns
  • Support Therapeutic Case Managers by providing consultation around behaviour management strategies
  • Develop and build on partnerships with stakeholders and services to support the organisation in information and resource sharing 
They are looking for candidates with therapeutic experience who have worked with children and young people presenting challenging behaviours

The requirements for this role include; 
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or related discipline 
  • Significant experience working with children and young people who have an intellectual disability and present with complex challenging behaviours
  • Experience working within a therapeutic framework 
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with CALD and First Nations colleagues and clients
  • Current WWCC and Driver's License
