Our Client is currently seeking a Team Leader to support a team of case managers facilitating crucial permanency pathways to children and young people in foster care. 
This role will involve;
  • Guide case managers through assessment and planning to support children and young people to safety transition through their permanency pathways to restoration, guardianship, adoption or supported care arrangements 
  • Collaborate with carer recruitment and support team, psychologists, case managers and support staff to achieve case plan objectives
  • Liaise and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders
  • Attend reflective practice, interagency and management meetings
  • Manage and resolve complaints 
  • Empower case managers to establish supportive and trusting relationships with children, carers and birth parents
They are looking for candidates with experience working in the Permanency Support Program

The requirements for this role include;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • At least 1 year experience overseeing caseworkers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Permanency Support Program and it's values
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary theories and practices relevant to child development 
  • First aid certificate
  • NSW driver's license and current Working with Children's Check
It is a requirement of this role to be compliant with the Covid-19 vaccination policy
