Salary: $92,000 - $100,000 per annum

Our Client is currently seeking a Team Leader to oversee a small team of caseworkers within a refuge for young females in Inner West Sydney. This is a permanent opportunity to be part of a valuable establishment that has been operating refuge services for young females for nearly 20 years.
This role will involve;
  • Oversee the development of the roster for staffing the refuge
  • Complete and record fortnightly supervision sessions with all case management staff
  • Complete annual performance appraisals for all case management staff
  • Undertake performance management process when required with case management staff
  • Lead coordination of client data entry and reporting processes under Client Information Management System (CIMS) and support Chief Executive Officer with data gathering for funding reports, evaluation and other reporting mechanisms.
  • Manage and update the Vacancy Management System (VMS) in line with program requirements.
  • Chair weekly case management meetings and oversee the intake and referral process for new clients
  • Delegate appropriately demonstrating an understanding of organisational and team priorities and capacities
They are looking for candidates with case management and leadership experience in homelessness or out of home care 

The requirements for this role include;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively 
  • At least 4 years experience in case management with clients experiencing homelessness or young people in out of home care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the youth sector, Juvenile Justice, Child Protection and Homelessness 
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster once a month
  • Current NSW Driver's license
