Senior Case Manager

Location: Sydney
Area: Parramatta & Western Suburbs
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum

Are you an experienced child and family practitioner looking to step up and support the development of your team?

Our client, a well-known child and family organisation based in South-West Sydney is looking for a motivated professional to join their team and provide support to Therapeutic case managers delivering the Permanency Support Program to children, young people, carers and birth families.

This role will involve;
  • Assist to develop and implement therapeutic practices and procedures to increase the skills of therapeutic case managers within the team
  • Hold a small caseload of children and young people in care at any one time
  • Work closely with carers, birth families and external stakeholders
  • Deliver client-focused case management consistent with relevant statutory requirements 
  • Provide feedback and ideas to the Team Leader around staff training needs
  • Assist with referrals and allocations of cases amongst the team
  • Act up into Team Leader roles such as on-call, facilitating team meetings, representing the agency at external meetings
They are looking for candidates with at least 3 years case management experience with Children and Families

The requirements for this role include;
  • Diploma of Social Work, Community Services or related field
  • Experience in a supervisory position 
  • High-level casework skills including providing quality assessment to at-risk families or children in out-of-home care
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce clear and concise reports
  • Current NSW Driver's license
