The Organisation
An exciting opportunity has become available to work for Barnardos, one of Australia’s leading children’s charities. A part time (28 hours), 12 month contract Project Lead - Compliance Risk is required for the Finance & Corporate Services Department based in Glebe, NSW.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Business Strategy, the Project Lead - Compliance Risk drives risk and incident management initiatives across portfolios and programs to provide assurance to Barnardos Board that risks and incident are eliminated or treated. Two key projects for this position will be the implementation of a risk management system & developing a business plan for an integrated incident system. 

The Candidate
The ideal Project Lead - Compliance Risk will have:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Business 
  • 5 years experience in risk management related projects 
  • Demonstrated commitment to risk management and incident management policies and
    procedures, including development and training of staff in this area.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to be an influential representative of Barnardos Australia.
  • Demonstrated report writing skills.
Barnardos works closely with Aboriginal Partnership Agencies in the community, and would welcome application from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates.

Salary: (Base & Superannuation) 

$102,217 to $108,076 pro rata 
base (including FBT packaging) + benefits + Super. 

Additional information
To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance, current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check
