Our Client is currently is seeking a Team Leader to join their new program in South Sydney! You will lead an experienced team of child protection practitioners and support your team to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
This role will involve;
  • Undertake review of safety & risk assessments
  • Support your team in decision making using evidence based tools
  • Oversee the implementation of the Permanency Support Programs including Foster Care Recruitment campaigns
  • Coordinate and oversee the support, guidance and review of authorised respite carers 
  • Collaborate with Managers to enhance and implement processes that will ultimately ensure the team is working effectively and sustainably
They are looking for candidates with strong leadership skills to oversee an experienced team

The requirements for this role include;
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience of 2 years or more
  • Strong understanding and experience working in the Permanency Support Program
  • Demonstrated experience working with regulatory and compliance frameworks and a strong understanding of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998.
  • NSW Drivers License and WWCC
