Manager Casework

Salary: $92,000 - $98,000 per annum

Our client is currently seeking a strong leader to support a team of caseworkers providing crucial services to children, young people, carers and families involved in foster care. Based in the Central Coast (2250), you will work closely with the Program Manager to uphold organizational values and enhance better outcomes for children.
  
This role will involve;
  • Maintain regular contact and relationships with the children and carers in the foster care program to enhance the safety and stability of placements
  • Facilitate carer reviews as directed by the Program Manager
  • Actively support the involvement of birth families where safe
  • Coordinate effective case management that will provide for the needs of the children, young people and families in the program
  • Support and coach staff in identifying and developing professional skills
  • Participate and facilitate team meetings, service reviews, planning and evaluations
They are looking for candidates with at least 3 years case management experience working with children and families

The requirements for this role include;
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • Minimum 3 years case management experience in Foster Care, Child Protection or Early intervention with children and families
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports 
  • A comprehensive understanding of the current child protection system and legislation 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and mentoring other team members
