Our client is seeking motivated and passionate Mental Health Practitioners to join a well-know community organisation in the ACT. As an outreach worker, you will provide clinical early intervention to vulnerable Families with children aged 0-18 who are at-risk of or showing early signs of mental health issues.

This role will involve;
  •  Provide early intervention and counselling in individual, family or group settings
  • Visits clients in their home or in a community setting do provide therapeutic support
  • Facilitate interventions where needed such as CBT, Play Therapy, DBT, FFT and more
  • Work collaboratively within a team and key stakeholders to enhance service delivery
  • Facilitate group work with clients involved in the program
  • Complete mandatory client records, case notes and data collection within given time-frame

They are looking for candidates with experience working therapeutically with children and families 

The requirements for this role include;
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working therapeutically with children and families
  • Working with Vulnerable People Clearance (ACT) and Working with Children’s Check (NSW)
  • Presentation and facilitation experience and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Knowledge of Attachment Theory
  • Full Driver’s License
