Child & Family Therapist

Location: Regional NSW

Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 per annum

Our Client is currently recruiting for a Child and Family Therapist to join their team based in Dubbo. This role provides wrap-around and intense, therapeutic support to families who have been identified as being 'at risk'. As the Child and Family Therapist, you will be trained in a unique therapeutic model that will shape your practice in this role. You will be provided with regular clinical supervision and support and ongoing training and development.
This role will involve;
  • Case Management of children who have been identified as being 'at risk' 
  • Providing in-home therapeutic intervention to both parents and children 
  • Regular home visits 
  • Working within a specific and targeted therapy model that utilises strength-based approaches 
  • Wrap-around support and intervention for families
  • Work closely with families on a daily basis to set and achieve goals
  • Contribute to group supervision and team meetings 
They are looking for candidates with experience in Social Work  - working directly and therapeutically with Children and Young People.

The requirements for this role include;
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or relevant field  
  • Post Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field is highly desirable 
  • 3+ years experience working therapeutically with children and families  
  • Willingness undertake training and learn a new therapeutic model
  • Salary package of $110, 000 - $115, 000 + benefits is on offer
