Our Client is currently seeking passionate caseworkers to join their Family Preservation program in Western Sydney! The program aims to provide targeted support to vulnerable families to prevent children and young people from entering Out of Home Care. Caseworkers in the Child-focused team will work with children aged 4-11 and their families.
  

This role will involve;
  • Provide professional and collaborative child centered and family focused early intervention service to children and families
  • Maintain a caseload of up to 10 families
  • Provide casework in line with child-focused, family focused, trauma informed, culturally appropriate and strengths-based principles 
  • Build a collaborative working relationship with families through a coaching approach
  • Explore and identify parenting goals and support parents to implement their plan, monitoring progress and trouble shooting 
  • Hold Infant, Child or Adolescent caseloads 
They are looking for candidates with experiencing working with vulnerable families experiencing domestic violence, child protection issues, parenting vulnerabilities or social isolation

The requirements for this role include;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related field 
  • Experience working with vulnerable families and children
  • Experience utilizing assessment tools
  • Ability to engage families and work competently alongside Aboriginal and CALD families
  • Current NSW Driver's license 
Applicants will be required to undertake in psychometric testing prior
