Our Client is currently seeking an experienced caseworker to join their early intervention program and work with vulnerable families with children of all ages as well as fathers to deliver parenting support and education, facilitate programs with the aim of reducing family violence, strengthen family relationships and improving child safety.
This role will involve;
  • Work collaboratively with families referred to the centre to identify strengths, needs and immediate concerns
  • Conduct intake and assessment, independent home visits and risk assessments
  • Facilitate education parenting programs and provide short term, direct casework to fathers and their families to address perinatal vulnerabilities
  • Participate in the development and review of caseplans
  • Monitor developmental milestones in children and refer to specialist intervention services where necessary 
They are looking for candidates with casework experience in a relevant field with children or families.

The requirements for this role include;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Human Services or related field 
  • 2 years casework experience in relevant field
  • Strong understanding of child protection legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to engage families from diverse background and cultures 
  • NSW Driver's License and WWCC
