Case Manager
Location: Regional NSWArea: Wollongong, Illawarra and South Coast
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum

Our Client is currently seeking a Case Manager to join their Permanency Support Program and provide quality foster care case management to children, young people, carers and families.
This role will involve;
- Promote the safety, permanency and well-being of children and young people in care
- Work to ensure children and young people are moving towards guardianship or adoption pathways where restoration to the birth family is not viable
- Complete assessments, reviews and permanency plans to promote child safety and well-being
- Conduct home visits and produce relevant written reports
- Complete relevant court reports within timeframes and attend court where required
- Ensure case plans include permanency planning, care for cultural competency and support for specific physical or mental health needs
- Be available to work a shared, on-call roster every 5 to 6 weeks
The requirements for this role include;
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development theory, parenting practices
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care
- Demonstrated knowledge of child protection processes and standards
- First Aid or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children's Check and Driver's License
It is a requirement of the role to be compliant with current Covid-19 vaccination requirements
