Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per annum

Our Client is currently seeking passionate, resilient and driven caseworkers to join their team in Western Sydney! As a case manager in Foster Care, you will work with children, carers and birth families to strengthen ties where safe and achieve permanency goals!

They are looking for candidates with some experience in Out of Home Care or Child Protection
  
This role will involve;
  • Providing safe, stable and suitable placements for children and young people within the Permanency Principles 
  • Manage a caseload of up to 10
  • Assist children in care to access supports and services which will strengthen placements and support carers and birth families
  • Ensure case reviews are conducted as per the requirements and address all needs to ensure OCG standards are met
  • Collaborate with care teams to assess referrals and discuss the
    matching of children with Carer Recruitment Officer and Program Manager, to determine appropriate placements
The requirements for this role include;
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or related field 
  • Experience on Foster Care or Child Protection programs
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise written material
  • Understanding of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998
  • NSW Driver's License and Working with Children Check
