Assistant Coordination Officer

Salary: $58 - $58 per hour

Our Client, a prominent NSW government department is currently seeking multiple Assistant Co-ordination Officers with a background in operational and field-based duties such as minuting community meetings, financial administrative duties and supporting the efficient running of Recovery Centres in disaster areas within NSW.
  
This role will involve;

  • Undertake a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of local and regional resilience projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.
  • The Role is administrative capacity mostly, noting there will be operational and field-based duties such as minuting community meetings and potentially, supporting the efficient running of Recovery Centres, if or when established. There will be an element of working with financials so experience in that area would be beneficial too
They are looking for candidates with;

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
