Early Intervention Speech Pathologist

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per annum

Our Client is entering a growth phase which has created new opportunities for peadiatric Speech Therapists to join their teams working across South Western Sydney, Sydney and the Sutherland Shire!

We are looking for both experienced practitioners and new graduates to join an innovative and supportive intervention Services team

You will be working in a variety of settings including individual settings both clinic and community-based, early childhood services and schools. You will be responsible for ensuring therapeutic services to families who have a child with additional needs and/or who are enrolled in one of their services.

  • Apply evidence-based practice to develop, implement, and evaluate a range of interventionsto support the child and build capacity of the family to attain the individual Speech therapy goals of the child. This includes working within the Transdisciplinary/Enhanced Key Worker model to provide early intervention services for children who are under 7 years of age.
  • Complete assessments and reviews of individual children in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Treat all families and children with dignity and respect their individual culture and beliefs.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff and other external professionals to provide holistic and consistent intervention.
  • Develop and maintain an effective timetable/schedule which enables the delivery of OT services that meet organisationally defined billable hour targets.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree qualification in speech pathology
  • Unrestricted driver’s license
  • SPA registration
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylaxis management).
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check

  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
