About the Role
Barnardos are looking for a full-time Software Developer for the Technology Team based at the Barnardos Head Office in Ultimo, Sydney. This is a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Manager – Project Delivery, the Software Developer will be responsible for;
  • Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs, applications, forms and workflows. This includes configuring, coding, developing, testing, maintaining and documenting software specifications throughout the product/project life cycle.
  • Work system in a timely and accurate fashion and provide support to other departments where required and directed by manager.
About You
To be successful in the Software Developer role, you will ideally have;
  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in software engineering or computer science
  • Five to Seven years equivalent work experience
  • Certifications in ICT technologies
  • Technically fluent in programming languages, including ASP.NET MVC HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, NUnit, MS Power Apps.
  • Extensive database and operating systems experience with Graph DB, Neo4J, RDBMS DB, SQL
  • Competent and proficient understanding of platforms such as Azure platform and services
  • Working knowledge of current automation technologies, including, SharePoint, RPA Technologies like Nintex/UI path & MS Power Apps.

Barnardos offers a base salary, plus leave loading, plus superannuation. Salary packaging is available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax free. Motor vehicle packaging is available on selected roles.
