About the Role
Barnardos are looking for a full-time Systems Engineer for the Technology Team based at the Barnardos Head Office in Ultimo, Sydney. This is a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for;
  • Ensuring the implementation and service levels of strategic technology initiatives across Barnardos managing all aspects of service delivery.
  • Leading the implementation and adoption of Technology throughout Barnardos the Systems Engineer will work closely with the IT Operations Manager assisting and improving; cyber security, systems and network performance and support, operational processes, quality and general use of technology throughout Barnardos while controlling costs.
About You
To be successful in the Systems Engineer role, you will ideally have;
  • University degree in computer science or engineering, or 3 years proven work experience as either a network or systems engineer and/or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (or equivalent)
  • Certified to ITIL foundation level
  • Understanding of cybersecurity risks and management
  • Experience in Office M365, implementation and support
  • Experience in Azure resource management, configuration, and architecture.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, WAN / MPLS

Barnardos offers a base salary, plus leave loading, plus superannuation. Salary packaging is available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax free. Motor vehicle packaging is available on selected roles.
