People and Culture Senior Leader

Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 per annum

Our client is a well established aged care provider in the Newcastle area going through a growth period and implementing change. As a consequence they have an new opening for a mature senior leader of their Human Resources functions.   

This role will provide opportunity to help establish and maintain the company's culture in line with values, leadership principles and their mission. You will be involved in all areas providing HR knowledge and advice to staff, leading projects, collaborating with the Compliance and Quality Manager, producing papers to the Board and coordinating staff surveys in conjunction with Senior Leaders.

You will join the senior leadership team supporting the CEO and Managers on HR, employee relations and WHS matters, including the interpretation of policies and procedures, relevant awards and legislation, employment terms and conditions, performance management and assist Senior Leaders with general recruitment of staff.

Develop, review, implement and monitor HR policies and procedures based on relevant legislation, award requirements and contemporary HR management practices to effectively meet organisational requirements including annual L&D planning and budgeting.
