Team Leader- Occupational Therapist

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to assist with the development of the occupational therapy department of the telehealth services they provide. You will be an experienced occupational therapist with sound clinical experience that has worked across diverse settings. We are seeking a person that has natural business acumen and a passion for developing new systems of approach to ensure a high level of clinical delivery is ensured for the clients.

This role is for a clinician that doesn't want a persons postcode to dictate the quality of care they have access too, you will be an out of the box thinker with a passion for your profession.

This role will involve;
  • Assist in the development and start-up of the division, inclusive of input into and planning on the role out of occupational services.
  • Quality Assurance and Coaching: Develop and consistently apply leading QA processes to ensure safety and efficacy of our services and continual development of clinical skills and standards across the occupational therapy team.  
  • Launch a multidisciplinary Allied Health Go-To-Market model and deliver on a recruitment plan to ensure occupational therapy growth.  
  • Supporting clients with complex needs, including multidisciplinary assessment, sensory assessment and therapy, and helping with life skills and motor skills, using evidence-based practice
  • Recruiting, coaching and growing the occupational team
  • Management and prioritisation of clients from a variety of clinical groups, mostly within the disability and aged care sector 
Requirements;
  • Bachelor qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA Registration
  • Interested in Telehealth
  • At least 3+ years practical experience in providing OT services in a disability setting.
  • Experience delivering training or therapy programs to participants, their families and carers as well as training and support to occupational  therapists 
  • ability to grow and develop a new division 

Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
