Senior Occupational Therapist

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum

Our Client is seeking a senior occupational therapist who can utilise their extensive hands-on experience to assess and make recommendations around self-care and life skills, aids, equipment, home modifications and manual handling.
The successful candidate will be working to build the services and team and be interested in succession planning and career development opportunities.
  
This role will involve;

  • The Senior Occupational Therapist will work among our Allied Health team, alongside the Customer Care Team and the Support Coordinators to ensure that all Occupational Therapy needs are met, whether they are via NDIS, aged care, workers compensation or Medicare.
  • This role will entail outreach service delivery from clinic-based and community-based settings both in the Canterbury/Bankstown district, and around Sydney Metropolitan.
  • You will be required to manage the day to day operations including budget monitoring, service payments and compliance with legislative requirements, conduct regular check-ins with the team to ensure group morale and encourage collaboration and communication.

The requirements for this role include;
  • Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy with AHPRA registration
  • At least 4 years of practical experience in providing services in Mental Health, disability, aged care or rehabilitation setting
