Mental Health - Clinical Lead

Our Client, a leading Not-For-Profit Youth Mental Health services provider based in Canberra,  is currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead to join their team based across two sites in ACT.
  
This role will involve;
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, relaxation strategies, skills training, and interpersonal therapy to young individuals aged 12 to 25 years, either on an individual basis or through group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to prioritize the team's well-being by implementing strategies that promote self-care, effectively manage individual workloads, support continuous learning and development of team members
  • Oversee and guide the service response and clinical decision-making process concerning the assessment and treatment provided to young individuals, along with their families and support networks, who present a variety of primary health needs.
The requirements for this role include;
  • Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist or registered psychologist
  • Advanced clinical skills including clinical triage, assessment, delivery of evidence based, focussed psychological therapies
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current drivers’ licence and willingness to travel as part of the role
Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
