Aged Care Governance Manager

Location: Sydney
Area: CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an Organisation Governance Manager to join their aged care team. You will be responsible for leading a strategic focus on organisational quality improvement, compliance and risk management and assist in the development and support programs, that will ensure high standard of quality care is being delivered.
Responsibilities;
  • Drive the organisations strategic direction for the quality management system, clinical and operational improvements, compliance and risk management
  • Develop, implement, maintain and evaluate the Quality Management System that encompasses organisation-wide quality, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement principles, policies, procedures and key performance indicators
  • Produce and deliver a strategy that expand the current accreditation scope and identifies and delivers quality risk and compliance frameworks that improve business excellence and contribute to competitive success
  • Progress and implement an organisation wide clinical risk management framework that provides a systematic and transparent process for managing organisational risk across all functions
Requirements;
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing
  • Preferably Master’s in Nursing or Master’s in Gerontology
  • Experience in a role in Clinical Management or Governance
  • 5 years’ experience within leadership
  • Unrestricted driver license

Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
