Rostering Coordinator

Location: Sydney
Area: North Shore & Northern Beaches
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $83,000 - $93,000 per annum

Our Client, a leading Disability Organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced Rostering Coordinator to join their team based in Waitara, NSW.
This role will involve;

  • Developing and maintaining rosters, in partnership with the key roles within the Disability Team, to ensure appropriate levels of staffing to meet participant needs, matching skills with client requirements:
  • Ensure allocated shifts are in line with individual contracted hours so that an employee’s rostered hours do not go below the contracted hours.
  • Actively maintain daily roster variations, including acting as the primary contact for staff cancellations and availability.
  • Organise casual staff to fill vacant shifts and maintain required staffing levels and mix.
  • Communicate rosters and roster changes to relevant staff.
  • Liaise with staff on all rostering queries.
  • Respond in a timely manner to roster or scheduling of service queries
  • Assist the Coordinator to research/resource and risk assess appropriate new program sites and procedures
  • Actively manage rostering processes in the clients Rostering Management System 
The requirements for this role include;
  • Experience with rostering software packages (working knowledge of CareLink+ and Human Force highly desirable) and/or extensive rostering experience.
  • Knowledge of and recent experience with Person Centred Approach and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Standards
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Qualifications in social, health, education, or community services or related area and/or extensive relevant experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • NDIS Worker Check and;
  • Evidence of approved COVID-19 vaccinations OR Medical Contraindication Certificate
Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
