Accommodation and Support Services Unit Manager

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per annum

Our Client, a well known and much loved Disability organisation, is currently recruiting for experienced Accommodation and Support Services Unit Manager that specialises in work with Young people in OOHC (aged between 5-25) to join their team based in Canberra

This role will involve;
  • Responsibilities for the culture and performance of the Accommodation and Support Services team, ensuring systems, policies and procedures and effective communications are in place
  • Working with the architectural team to map out future properties
  • Looking at 'fee for service' opportunities; strategizing on how to diversify income
  • Working and Collaborating with ACT Housing 
  • Strategic planning, budget management
  • Using financial data to inform future decisions

The requirements for this role include;
  • Extensive experience in the disability sector and knowledge of the NDIS
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People Clearance
  • NSW WWCC check
  • National Police Check and other clearances as required
  • Unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated experience of managing SIL accommodation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • A Tertiary qualification in Disability/Human Services or equivalent qualification gained in a similar role is essential
  • Working knowledge of all current WHS and Compliance
