Team Leaders/ House Managers - SIL Accommodation

Salary: $75,000 - $83,000 per annum

Our Client, a leading Disability service provider, is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join their team in the Northern Sydney area
This role will involve;
  • Managing & mentoring a team of 15 support workers
  • Supporting participants with both intellectual and physical disability 
  • Administration and management of all participants medication 
  • Building relationships with clients, families and carers to ensure  participants goals are being met 
  • Rostering & timesheets and all administrative duties 
  • Coaching and developing a team through hands on management, good communication, interpersonal skills and peer support 
  • Working with and managing the budgets of the house 

The requirements for this role include;
  • Demonstrated experience of managing SIL accommodation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working with and an understanding of the complex needs of people living with a disability
  • Ability to coach and mentor a team of support workers and lead by example
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • A Cert IV in Disability or Aged Care highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of all current WHS and Compliance
  • Ability to develop and facilitate person -centred plans
