Team Leader /House Manager-Greater Western Sydney

Salary: $75,000 - $82,000 per annum

My Client, a leading disability organisation  is currently recruiting for experienced Team Leaders in both Accommodation and Day Programs to join their team based in Greater Western Sydney 
  
This role will involve 
  • Management of a team of up to 20 support workers
  • Managing a group home with up to 6 clients in SIL accommodation 
  • Managing all administrative needs of the house including budgets, rostering ,maintenance etc
  • Hands on involvement in the day to day activities of the house as well as one day a week of administration on site 
The requirements for this role include;
  • Experience working with the NDIS is essential 
  • Sound understanding of the needs of people with disabilities
  • Ability to lead, motivate and train a team of dedicated support workers
  • Sound written and verbal communication 
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Team Leader or Senior Support worker in SIL Accommodation 
  • Ideally a tertiary qualification within Social Care or Community Services 
  • Drivers License and own car essential 
Additional Information 

  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
