Service Coordinator

Location: Sydney
Area: All Sydney
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum

Our Client, a leading NFP disability organisation , is currently recruiting for an experienced Service Coordinator to join their team based in the Hills District. 
  
This role will involve;
  • Managing & mentoring a team of 25 support workers
  • Supporting participants with both intellectual and physical disability
  • Administration and management of all participants medication
  • Building relationships with clients, families and carers to ensure participants goals are being met
  • Rostering & timesheets and all administrative duties
  • Coaching and developing a team through hands on management, good communication, interpersonal skills and peer support
  • Working with and managing the budgets of the house


The requirements for this role include;
  • Demonstrated experience of managing SIL accommodation 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working with and an understanding of the complex needs of people living with a disability 
  • Ability to coach and mentor a team of support workers and lead by example
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • A Cert III OR IV in Disability or Mental Health is essential 
  • Working knowledge of all current WHS and Compliance
  • Ability to develop and facilitate person centred plans


Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
