Senior Housing Manager

Abrs are currently looking for a Senior Housing Manager for a well established  housing provider. This position is a 3 month contract role with an immediate start required.
  
As the Senior Housing Manager you will assist the Area Manager to support a team of professional and administrative housing staff within a Community Housing environment. The Senior Housing Manager will assist in building a collaborative team environment to deliver quality services and achieve positive outcomes for clients while maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
  
  
Duties include:

• Assist with Recruitment and selection
• Provide opportunity for learning and development
• Reward and recognise staff performance
• Assist with Managing poor performance
• Manage staff WHS practices
• Manage adherence to income and income recovery KPI’s
• Rent assessments
• Manage rent arrears
• Provide advice and knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act
• Ensure the accurate recording of relevant data in the IT system(s)
• Conduct policy reviews as required
• Provide relevant compliance reporting to support achievement of registration/accreditation
• Conduct all activities in accordance with the quality and safety management system

  

Essential requirements:

• Team management experience
• NSW Drivers License
• Experience working in the community housing sector

Additional Information 

• A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
