Project Coordinator - Homelessness

Salary: $82,000 - $86,000 per annum

Our Client, a leading not for profit organisation providing accommodation and support services to homeless persons and victims of domestic violence. The organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their team based in the Central Coast. 
This role will involve;
  • Participation in monthly supervision and performance management practices 
  • Monthly meetings and supervision of staff
  • Working cooperatively with the service Managers to ensure quality and consistency of practice throughout the organisation
  • Assisting the  training managers to provide training/ on-the-job coaching and mentoring to staff
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, development and implementation of projects with a strong program and practice design focus including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project related activities. 
  • Assist in the development, implementation and review of policies and procedures 
The requirements for this role include;
  • Minimum 2 year working within a specialist homelessness service
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to support practice development, including small-group facilitation
  • Supervision and coaching skills
  • Experience implementing evidence-based practices and programs
  • Demonstrated ability to design, adapt, and support systematic applications of practices and programs
  • Experience in project and program management
  • Advanced understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities such as drug and alcohol use, domestic violence, mental health issues, and the impact of trauma and the effect on child behavior and development
Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
