NDIS Program Coordinator

Location: Sydney
Area: South West & M5 Corridor
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum

Our Client, an established Disability (NDIS ) provider based in South Western Sydney is currently looking for an experienced NDIS program coordinator 
  • This role will involve;
    • Managing the day to day operations of the organisations NDIS portfolio
    • Working with participants to build capacity, quality of life and independence
    • Ensure that all reports and service delivery are in accordance with the NDIS framework
    • Plan and execute community access and indoor activities programs for participants 
    • Work with participants to ensure supports and plans are of quality and meeting their needs
    • Supporting participants to identify and achieve their goals through their supports
    • Implement behaviour support plans in collaboration with behaviour support practitioners
    • Managing rostering and supervision of support staff



   The requirements for this role include;
        • High knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
        • Awareness of disability sector and people with disabilities.
        • Experience in providing services to participants as a Support Coordinator
        • Experience in the assessment and monitoring processes for NDIS participants including other mainstream services
        • High level of verbal and written communication skills including skills for Microsoft Suite
        • The commitment of working with participants within a strengths-based, person-centred framework
        • Leadership skills and proven relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
        • Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately and prioritise workloads
        • Problem-solving skills and the ability to leverage networks
        • Australian Driver License
        • Cert III or higher in Community Services or Health Care 

Additional Information 
  • A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
