Community Programs Manager
Location: SydneyArea: CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per annum
Our Client, a leading not-for-profit organisation, providing accessible and affordable transport for older people, people with disabilities and people who are transport disadvantaged, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Programs Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a senior leader with extensive experience in program development, community engagement, and client journey management.
This is a key leadership role reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement, risk management, and strategic and operational planning. The Community Programs Manager will be responsible for managing our client's Community programs from development through to service delivery in accordance with client needs, government funding requirements, service schedules, and quality standards.

The Community Programs Manager will be responsible for managing our client's Community programs from development through to service delivery in accordance with client needs, government funding requirements, service schedules, and quality standards.
This role will involve;
- Developing and managing community programs
- Managing a small, diverse team of service delivery staff
- Supporting the adoption of high-quality person-centered services in a program funding environment
- Monitoring and reporting on program performance
- Managing the day-to-day operations of client services and programs
- Engaging and supporting service delivery staff to identify areas for improvement and efficiency in service delivery
- Establishing and monitoring performance and development plans for all team members
- Strategic management, development and implementation of innovative programs that meet the needs of the community and funding bodies
- Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and the organisation's Risk Management Framework at a service delivery level
- Proven experience in program development and management in the not-for-profit sector
- Knowledge of government funding requirements and service schedules
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams to achieve results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of quality, risk management and safety practices
- Ability to work independently within the parameters of organisational policy and delegations
- Demonstrated experience in compiling accurate reports and analysing statistics
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with all external stakeholders, including agencies that contract our client for the delivery of services
- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
