About the Role
Barnardos are looking for a full-time Community Fundraising Coordinator for the Engagement & Giving Portfolio based at the Barnardos Head Office, Ultimo, Sydney. This is a 4-month fixed term contract (part time hours will be accommodated).  Reporting to the Campaigns Manager – Engagement & Giving Portfolio, the Community Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for;
  • Providing administration and project support to ensure the smooth running of our new Community Fundraising Flagship campaign.
  • Building relationships with a network of fundraising supporters to encourage them to participate in fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting these members of the public with communications and motivation, to support them in their fundraising journey.
About You
To be successful in the Community Fundraising Coordinator role, you will ideally have;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a similar role in events, community fundraising or marketing campaigns
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a community fundraising, events or Project coordinator role.
  • An understanding and interest in digital marketing and social media.
  • Ability to hit the ground running in this amazing opportunity to join in the launch of a brand-new campaign and Community Fundraising program.
  • Passionate about being a ‘Fundraiser’ and providing inspiration and support to Barnardos community fundraisers.
  • Confidence and ability to build and manage relationships with all fundraisers, using face to face, phone, email and Social media.
  • High level of computer skills, especially MS Office and familiarity working with Raisers edge/ NXT or similar CRM Databases.

Salary: Base $60, 500 plus leave loading plus superannuation.  Packaging available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax free. Motor vehicle packaging available on selected roles.
  
To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance and current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check.
