Case Manager

Location: Regional NSW

Salary: $84,000 - $84,000 per annum

Our Client, a leading Domestic Violence & Homelessness support service,  is currently recruiting for an experienced Homelessness Case Manager to join their team based in The Hunter Region. 
  
This role will involve;
  • Providing person centered responses to service requests from people experiencing domestic violence and/or Homelessness  
  • Responding to a range of enquiries from both internal and external service providers about issues pertaining to domestic violence and homelessness
  • Engaging with internal and external clients 
  • Providing group work activities aimed at supporting people to remain housed and living free of violence.
  • Providing Strategies to assist people in crisis as a result of domestic violence and or homelessness 
  • Providing Case Management, addressing clients needs in line with 'best practice' guidelines and organisational policy and procedures
The requirements for this role include;
  • Tertiary qualification in social science or related field. Minimum Diploma level 
  • Experience working in specialist homelessness and/or specialist domestic violence community organisations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and work organisation skills 
  • Demonstrated skills as a 'best practice' case manager 
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate group work activities
  • Hold a current NSW Drivers License 
  • COVID 19 Fully Vaccinated
