GM service delivery operations - NDIS services

Location: Sydney
Area: North Shore & Northern Beaches
Worktype: Full Time
Salary: $145,000 - $150,000 per annum

This will be a strategic hire to strengthen the executive team by bringing in a NDIS specialist to provide high level of guidance, leadership and management of NDIS Services to ensure services are delivered within agreed timeframes and meeting NDIS quality and safety standards. The General Manager will implement the organisation’s strategic plan and internal operational planning processes, contributing towards the achievement of the plan and organisational vision, mission and objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Assisting the CEO with development and monitoring of strategy and business plans
  • Identify new innovative ways to deliver NDIS services
  • Recruitment and management of NDIS services staff with a focus on person centred case management
  • Provide a range of effective training and development options 
Qualifications and essential criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Allied Health or Nursing
  • Demonstrated high level of operational management experience in providing leadership, guidance, and fostering teamwork
  • Previous experience working with NDIS and quality standards
  • Proven ability to provide strategic direction and processes in resources management and budgeting
  • Experience in operational planning, quality assurance and industry standard compliance systems
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills within a variety of community and agency stakeholder environments to achieve strategic objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong problem -solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
